Aimee and I took a 45 minute direct bus from where I live to a place
called Taejongdae. Taejongdae is a
natural park on the coast of Busan with a nature walk and an extraordinary view
of the sea. It also has a lookout
point that allows you to see the outline of Japan in the distance! The park has some monuments, small
cruise terminals, pebble stone beaches with beautiful waves, turquoise water and
a lighthouse.
The train you could take along the trail
One of the highlights for me was seeing the ajumas (married
Korean women) preparing fresh seafood right by the sea. People can sit on platforms overlooking
a view of the sea while eating seafood right out of the ocean.
The next day was a rainy Sunday so I returned to another Cat
Café to spend the afternoon. This Café
had a really cute newborn puppy, a completely hairless cat and a litter of
kittens the owner brought out for quick admiration. He owner also whipped up a batch of cat food for us to put
on our hands and let the cats eat from. The cats were a lot more responsive when there was food involved
which must be an international response.
