Exploring New Areas

Saturday, February 16th, 2013 – Sunday, February 17th, 2013

The girls and I went to the hair salon and got our haircut!  After, we went shopping around another new area for me called PNU and went out for Indian food!  Finally, we got some drinks in KSU and ran into our Jujitsu teacher!  It was a good day :)

Sunday, I decided it was about time to explore my own neighborhood and work my way up the mountain near where I live!

The city Busan is very interesting because it is a huge city but it is all condensed into one area within the mountains and most people live in apartments.  The higher you go, in general the more poverty, typically this is because it is harder to live up on the mountain and it is less convenient.  Within the brand new, fancy apartment buildings,  there are old, run down buildings.  You can look at the city and see so much class diversity in one glance.  It was fascinating to see the different buildings, the side streets and the landscape differences between the main road and the top of the mountain.

This is what the more developed main street looks like at night
