Santiago de Compostela
A charming city located in the north of Spain in a region called Galicia. This is the city that is famous for being the end point of the Camino de Santiago. The famous cathedral is where most pilgrims end their journey, historically and presently.
Some of the other churches around town, just your everyday small town churches and cathedrals around every corner!
The Cathedral
Part of the University Campus.
Traditional Market
One side of the Cathedral
Giant organs in the Cathedral. We went to the noon mass to watch the sermon the pilgrims attend after they have finished their camino (walk).
Famous University housing called Case de la Troya as it would have looked like in the 19th century.
The woman who owned the house and her attic view of the Cathedral.
The kitchen
Claims to be the narrowest alley in all of Spain.
Interesting and yummy vegan food we tried.
A little bit of nature and parks.
Cool stairway in the Galician History Museum.
Some 'Tunas' preforming. (Trandional university musical group called Tunas)
Some real tuna so I could say I tried some fish while I was there since everyone recommends eating the fish.
