We met our friend Angie, whom we met in Korea, and her boyfriend, Andrew, for a quick 24 hour visit.  They are both living in Germany.

You know when you go somewhere with no real expectations but are pleasantly surprised?  That is how we felt about Lithuania.  We didn't know much about it as a country, but we got a great overall impression.  The people were lovely, the atmosphere was relaxed and we felt like we could explore and wonder without being pinned as just another pair of tourists.  You can't tell from the pictures but yes, it was -20 outside plus wind and no, it didn't make me miss Canadian winters.
