Tenerife Island!!

We spent one weekend in Tenerife which is one of the Canary Islands.  At times it was cool but overall we felt a bit of sun and had a great weekend!  One of the highlights was trying a typical delicious 'café con leche' but this one is a little special and is called 'leche con leche' which means it also has condensed milk in it!  We also went to a UNESCO World Heritage Site called 'La Laguna' for the morning.  The rest of the time we explored the capital, Santa Cruz, and a beach in the north of the island called Las Teresitas.  The food, ambiance and people were all terrific!

After all this time, there are still a ton of things to do and see in Madrid, this weekend we went out to try and accomplish more of those things!

Museo Cerralbo

We went to a musuem called Museo Cerralbo which was owned by a marquise in the 1900's and it was better than we expected.  It had so much detail and personalization in all the decorations; Along with an idea of just how rich and powerful this man would have been.
