March 2014

March 2014

Bring your cat or dog to salsa night, I am assuming?? This cat has the most patience I have ever seen.  They even tried to get it to race against the two dogs that came that night across the dance floor;  That is where its patience was limited.  The DJ even handed the cat straight into my arms at one point in the night and it held on to me for dear life instead of running away.  This cat came with its own Louis Vuitton carrier and I think the picture alone makes my point; Yes it is wearing  a little shirt.

Korean junk food - deep fried potato with a couple types of seasoning.  Of course they added sugar to the cheese seasoning completely altering the flavour to something not quite right for my tastebuds.

Themed dual birthday party.  Playing mini pool.

UN park

One of my middle school students giving Elsa some candy for White Day.  (White Day - March 14th - Boys give girls candy, Valentines Day - Girls give boys chocolate)

Hike to Sukbolsa temple.  Huge carvings in the rock, a very interesting temple to explore!

The second round for the photo exhibit.  On display at a local coffee shop.

The first Korean wedding I have attended.  It only lasted for 2 hours including the buffet at the end.  You give the bride and groom money instead of a present and that goes towards paying for your own meal at the wedding, plus some extra money in some cases.  Many people were standing at the back and talking in their normal voices as the ceremony was taking place.  The bride and groom only made a brief appearance later during the meal to say hi to the guests and then disappeared again.
